My Questions..

First, Ill start by saying I like how this looks, what you have and where it looks like you are going with it. I like the stats, doing an op rp without stats doesnt feel right..

I found this forum when I searched forumotion for one piece rp.

I cant reply to the Site Content threads, so Ill post my questions of them here.


Stats:
-Can you customize or allocate your stats yourself? If you dont want any regular attack points or something, or to have better defense than offense.
-Will Dodge be a skill too?
-What is GP?

Weapons and Gear:
-Do weapons upgrade automatically? I don't really understand how the system works.
-Can you get your weapons to eat a devil fruit to gain an ability?
-Also notice the Beri seems really cheap, at least compared to the op episodes. Just pointing this out mainly. >.>

Allegiances:
-Will there be Shichibukai/Warlords?
-Does Cross Alliance mean you change to a different one, or that you are part of a group with loyalties to a different group?

Ships:
-Are all the ships rentals? I dont understand the one week or certain number of days thing.

Devil Fruits:
-If it costs 3k rp, is it impossible to start with one?
-Would these mainly be be found/rewarded from doing quests or something? It might be cool if staff said one is found randomly in the middle of one of the rp's.

Abilities and Skills:
-Will Haki/Rokushiki be abilities?

It's going to take a while for me to finish the content for the forum, a lot of numbers need to be added and for that I need a particular person to be around. Right now he's very busy with college.

Stats scale as you gain exp.
Weapons and gear are where your customization comes from.
I was thinking of ways for dodging to be implemented in a way where it's not abused, so in time it will be added. Keep in mind this site is not open yet.
GP is a typo from a system I used on an old site. GP=Beri.

Weapon upgrades are purchased.
Weapons eating fruits might become a later system.
Eh, it's the way the system balances out. I doubt I'll be changing the Beri gains any time soon.

Yes, there will be Shichibukai/Warlords. I'm working on that in the staff forum right now.
Cross alliances are like the Shichibukai. They have two loyalties, however, they can be a traitor to one.

Ships are bought. You use them to travel from one sea to the next and that's how long it takes to travel in real time. I will have a battle system for them later.

You can't start with a fruit. I'm afraid that if I allowed that then there would be an influx of fruit users and no one would be without a fruit. I don't think that would be all that interesting.
I think random fruit finds might be interesting for special events.

Haki/Rokushiki will be allowed as custom abilities/skills. However, I'm not going to allow it to be too over powered.

Yea. I guess I got lucky, searching for an op rp when I did. =p I havent rp'd one piece before, which is why Im asking so many questions. :s

Just an idea, but it might be easier to make dodge the defense roll, and block come from abilities with its own formula.

Does that mean T1 weapons with all 3 slots filled, you can upgrade it into t2 for 2k, where it gains 2 more slots?

Will the Haki/Rokushiki have formulas for their abilities? Like Tekkai would increase Block% or Health? Having set stats for them would probably be the best way to keep them from being overpowered.

I'll talk to the numbers guy, but this system in simplest form has been used elsewhere and seems to be holding strong.

Yes, on the weapons question.

Abilities/Skills will have basic formulas by tier. Anything else will have to go through staff for approval. Haki/Rokushiki is something that can easily be abused if not monitored.

Out of curiosity, will we be allowed multiple characters?

Yeah, we will be.
Thinking about allowing all the OCs you want and one series character.
I don't want to limit OCs too much, but I don't want the site to be only active with OCs either.

What will the timeline be? And can we replace canon characters, or will the title rules change from the series? (ex 3 Admirals/4 Emperors/7 Warlords)

The timeline will be whenever the writers want it to be.

Out ranking system will be set up with the admirals, emperors, warlords, ect.
However, the canons will hold the title ic.
There will be quest lines to obtain titles for OCs and canons who want to obtain a title.
